An all-mountain utility board that's jamming the airwaves, the K2 Broadcast Snowboard is a favorite of all mountain transmitters everywhere. Meticulously designed to go-anywhere and do-anything, this board features an energized Directional Camber Baseline™ so you can handle everything from slush to powder with ease. With a middle of the road flex rating and a lightweight core, this board will quickly become your go-to when conditions are uncertain.
Rocker Type
Directional Camber Baseline™ – Camber between the feet and a slight rocker in the tip and tail give you all of the power and energy of a cambered snowboard, but with a little extra float on those deep days.
Flex
Flex Rating – 3 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff)
Shape
Tapered Directional
Traditional Shaped Board
Core
BAP Core – K2 blended three species of renewable timber to assemble a core that's strong, lightweight, and designed to enhance dampening without the addition of other materials.
Laminates
Biaxial Glass – Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0°. This makes for a more responsive ride longitudinally and torsionally.
ICG™ Carbon Glass – Integrating tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass lay-ups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity. K2 offers ICG™ glass in two variations; ICG™ 10 Biax Glass and ICG™ 20 Triax.
