Sales and Web Operations Associate

 

Alpenland Ski & Cycle has been a Lethbridge icon in Southern Alberta for over 40 years with excellent service and quality outdoor equipment and apparel. Our team is made up of passionate ski, snowboard & bike enthusiasts that love the outdoors, and we are seeking a Sales & Web Operations Associate to join our team at our Lethbridge, AB location.

 

 

 

 The Sales and Web Operations Associate is responsible for updating and maintaining product inventory on the Web Store, as well as processing customer orders. They will also work alongside staff on the sales floor. This role has time shared between web operations and sales.  

 

 

 

Daily responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Working with the Bigcommerce e-commerce platform 
  • Add new products to the web store 
  • Update existing products on the web store 
  • Maintain an accurate and updated inventory on the web store 
  • Collect products for for customer orders placed through the web store
  • Process payments through our Point of Sale system
  • Package and ship customer orders to locations throughout Canada 
  • Assist with online customer service inquiries and returns 
  • Assisting customers on the retail floor when needed
  • Answer customer questions in-store and over the phone 
  • Assisting the Leadership with any other additional tasks 
  • Stating up-to-date on industry and product knowledge 
  • Ensuring guests have a professional and memorable experience

  • Having a valid driver’s license 
  • Ability to take initiative and is a self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in data entry 
  • Previous e-commerce experience is considered an asset
  • Knowledge related to the Ski & bike industry is an asset
  • Valid Industry related certifications are not required but will be favoured

 Service Technician - Blairmore   

As the outdoor industry continues to grow and innovate, we are seeking candidates that are looking for opportunities to develop their experience and knowledge in the bike, ski, and snowboard industry. This on-going role will offer opportunities for growth and permanent employment on our team for the ideal candidate, along with access to the industry’s best products and services. The Service Shop Technician will be responsible for servicing and tuning Bikes, Skis, and Snowboards as well as assisting customers on the retail floor when needed. Their daily responsibilities will include the following:

  • Writing service work-orders for equipment tuning and repair, staging equipment
  • Operating hand-tools and tuning equipment
  • Assisting with hand-off of serviced equipment to customers
  • Participating in Product Knowledge events
  • Assisting customers on the retail floor when needed
  • Occasionally greeting and assisting store visitors
  • Answering customer questions regarding services in-store and on the phone
  • Accepting payments on our Point of Sale system for completed service work
  • Assisting customers with rental equipment, fitment, and payment processing 
  • Ensuring guests have a professional and memorable experience
  • Assisting the Leadership team with any other additional tasks
