 Part Time Customer Service Representative: 

Alpenland Ski & Cycle has been a Lethbridge icon in Southern Alberta for over 40 years with excellent service and quality outdoor equipment and apparel. Our team is made up of passionate ski, snowboard & bike enthusiasts that love the outdoors, and we are seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Lethbridge, AB location. 

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for promoting our products and services with excellent customer service. Daily responsibilities will include the following: 

· Greeting and assisting store visitors 

· Guiding guests through our product and service selection as needed 

· Staying up-to-date on industry and product knowledge 

· Answering questions regarding products and services 

· Accepting payments on our Point of Sale system and handling returns and exchanges 

· Ensuring guests have a professional and memorable experience 

· Assisting with receiving and tagging new products and inventory 

· Assisting the Leadership team with seasonal merchandising and tasks 

 

All applicants should have strong customer service skills, with a willingness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate is passionate about their sport, and is excited to contribute and be a part of our staff team. Additional requirements include: 

· Having a valid driver’s license 

· Ability to take initiative and is a self-starter 

· Excellent communication skills 

· Previous Ski & Bike industry experience is an asset 

· Valid Industry related certifications will also be favored

 

Rental Shop Technician Winter 2022/2023 (Castle Mountain Resort)

Summary

Castle Mountain - Alpenland is seeking applications for Rental Shop Technicians for the 2022/23 winter season. Successful applicants will be friendly and outgoing, and have a genuine desire to provide a great experience for our guests. Training and certification will be provided in all facets of ski and snowboard rental.

Job Duties

  • Greeting customers
  • Assisting with customer sign-in and contract completion
  • Selecting and fitting ski and snowboard boots, skis, snowboards, helmets, and poles
  • Contract review and data entry
  • Maintaining a safe and clean workplace at all time
  • Inspecting equipment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Ski and Snowboard Technician is preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Time management skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Must be approachable, dependable and a strong team player
  • Must be able to deal with people of all ages with animation and with patience

Work Conditions

  • Must be able to lift / carry up to 50 lbs
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Outdoor work in extreme winter conditions
  • Weekend, and holiday, shifts may be required
  • Overtime as required
